Novel makeup is a series I started this year in which I match my makeup to book covers. For this one I did See You Later by Christopher Pike–I’ve done a lot of Christopher Pike books so far because I love the fun neons from his 1990’s covers that I used to love back in the day. I haven’t reread this one yet, but I have reread a few of his books recently, and they’re so nostalgic for me.
For this look, I used the Poet eye shadows from the Tati Beauty Textured Neutrals palette as well as the blue shade from the E.L.F. Mad for Matte Jewel Pop Palette (full disclosure some of the shadows in that palette are hard to work with for me, and I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it, but I was working with what I had) and Lemonhead LA glitters in Hollyweird and Electric Daze. For lips, I used Colourpop Maui Wowie. The rest of the (all vegan and cruelty free) makeup details are also listed below:
