For novel makeup part 7, I chose Dolores Claiborne by Stephen King. I found this vintage first Signet printing from 1993 at Half Price Books earlier this year. I miss Half Price Books and thrift shopping for books so much! Anyone else?
I love the colors on this cover and thought it would fun and challenging to try a look using pink, purple, red, and gold. I used the Vivid Pigment palette from Coloured Raine, which I got recently and have been loving so far. For a pop of gold, I used Lemonhead LA Rainbow Road glitter.
On my lips, I used Lime Crime lipstick in red velvet, with a little bit of Anastasia Beverly Hills lipstick in Rio in the center, topped with a bit of purple shadow from the Vivid Pigment palette and E.L.F. lip lacquer. Lately I’ve been into mixing Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation with Too Faced Born This Way, which is what I did for my base.
