What’s the perfect food to eat while watching Season 3 of Stranger Things (which came out today, OMG)? Triple Decker Waffle Extravaganzas, obviously!
Just pop a few frozen waffles into the toaster, layer them on a plate with whipped cream, and lastly, top with gummy candies and chocolate!
To make this treat vegan and gluten free, swap the Eggos with vegan/gluten free waffles like Vans or Nature’s Path and use vegan whipped cream (like Reddi Wip non-dairy, which I found at both HEB & Target). As for candy, there are lots of vegan options these days–I opted for Dots because they’re classic (and accidentally vegan), Unreal Dark Chocolate Covered Peanuts, and Lily’s dark chocolate chips. (I also had some Wholesome Gummy Bears from Whole Foods but didn’t end up adding them.)
