Chop apple into small pieces.
Add oats, water, chopped apple, turmeric, and the rest of the spices to a small pot and bring to a boil over medium/high heat.
Once boiling, turn down to low, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes until oats have absorbed all of the water.
Turn off the heat, add maple syrup, vanilla, and plant milk, and stir. Add toppings and serve immediately.
